They shout logical fallacies at each other, spew half-brained conspiracy theories, and have stupid arguments about guitarists (OMG HOW CAN YOU 5AY PAGE IS BETTER THEN SRV BI4TCH)

Another popular one is the God debate, which will pop up in any thread that's gone on too long (the mechanism is similar to Godwin's Law)

People who understand history are doomed to repeat it swept by the momentum of an ignorant majority.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17915186427167408768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9024126.post-67094511031971445512007-05-28T07:13:00.000-04:002007-05-28T07:13:00.000-04:00You made me go back in time. do some listening to...You made me go back in time. do some listening to old Band tunes - which I haven't done in ages. Classics you didn't mention like The Weight and The Night They Drove Ol' Dixie Down.

I found a Youtube of the latter. It was festooned with comments, most of them from people ready to fight the Civil War all over again, without benefit of knowledge of the history thereof. Sad. It reminded me that, that little conflict took 4 years and more than 600,000 lives (just counting those in uniform), followed by twelve years of what amounted to a military occupation of the South by the North ("there goes the Robert E. Lee"). Only to be fighting the slavery/civil rights questions all over again in the 1960s and beyond.

And we expect to be out of Iraq when?!?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9024126.post-6524373775352487952007-05-26T23:25:00.000-04:002007-05-26T23:25:00.000-04:00sorry it's me.sorry it's me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9024126.post-7513033937243876772007-05-26T23:17:00.000-04:002007-05-26T23:17:00.000-04:00It's is good stuff.I used to be in to The Wallflow...It's is good stuff.

I used to be in to The Wallflowers so if Jakob Dylan is on there I might have to get it.

have to go see if my "fine tune" player has this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9024126.post-29306397753346580912007-05-26T15:55:00.000-04:002007-05-26T15:55:00.000-04:00Can't stop listening to it.
